Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, depression, trauma, low motivation, or ongoing stress begin affecting daily routines, relationships, and overall well-being. At times, people may feel emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to regain balance and move forward in a healthy, productive way.
Therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand these challenges while developing practical tools for lasting change. I am committed to creating a compassionate, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly share their experiences and work toward their personal goals. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and life experiences.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, loss of motivation, family dynamic challenges, and difficulties related to emotional regulation and skill development. I also work with individuals struggling with productivity fatigue, helping them improve time management, organization, boundary-setting, and overall daily functioning in ways that feel realistic and sustainable.
I also support couples experiencing challenges related to communication, parenting, conflict resolution, emotional connection, trust, and life transitions, helping partners strengthen understanding, improve communication, and build healthier relationship patterns. In addition, I support parents and families through a variety of experiences and transitions, including parenting stress, family relationship challenges, and the unique experiences of adoptive parents and blended families.
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Polyvagal Theory, and trauma-informed care practices. Together, we can explore emotional patterns, strengthen coping strategies, improve self-awareness, and build practical skills that support emotional well-being, resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
I believe therapy is not only about managing challenges but also about helping individuals feel more empowered, balanced, and confident in themselves and in their daily lives. It is an honour to support clients as they work toward healing, self-understanding, and positive change.
Outside the office:
Outside the office, I enjoy fishing and golfing, as well as crocheting and other creative activities that help me relax and recharge. I also love spending time with my three dogs, who bring a lot of joy and balance to my life.
