Couples often experience periods of strain within their relationships, including challenges with communication, intimacy, trust, infertility, parenting stress, and major life transitions. These difficulties can lead to emotional distance, conflict, and a sense of disconnection, making it hard to feel understood or supported.

Counselling offers a safe and supportive space to reconnect, improve communication, and rebuild emotional closeness. I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to couples at all stages, including premarital, newlywed, expecting parents, new parents, and long-term partnerships. My approach focuses on helping partners better understand one another, navigate conflict more effectively, and strengthen their emotional bond within the relationship and family system.

I specialize in supporting couples with relationship concerns as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, addiction, and emotional regulation difficulties. I also support parents navigating the unique challenges of raising neurodivergent children

I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and specialized techniques for PTSD and complex trauma. My work focuses on strengthening emotional connection, building practical coping strategies, and supporting meaningful and lasting change.

I believe that stronger relationships create stronger families, and that healing often begins through connection, understanding, and emotional awareness. It is an honour to support individuals and couples as they move toward healing, growth, and greater emotional well-being.

Outside the office:

When I am not practicing therapy, I enjoy gardening, sewing, and working on mega-size puzzles. I love spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and walking near the water. I am both an extrovert and a homebody at heart, and I especially enjoy quiet evenings with a book, a cup of tea, and my dog by the fireplace.
