About Stacy
Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW)
Master of Social Work (MSW), University of Windsor, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Adults struggle with so many things: life transitions, parenting issues, past trauma, caregiver burnout, grief and loss. They also struggle to cope and feel like they have to go about it alone.
I take pride in supporting people with all of their life struggles. I support caregivers who are experiencing compassion and caregiver fatigue/burnout. I can also help you with issues related to trauma anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief/loss and a variety of life transitions, such as; gender identity, sexual orientation, retirement, change in relationship status, and more.
I am a registered Social Worker (RSW) with over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and families. We will collaborate together to develop goals that best suit your needs. I use a custom combination of approaches, including Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness through a trauma-informed lens to provide treatment that is suited to your needs.
I take pride in helping you find self-compassion, and build on your existing strengths to make positive gains in your life in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Feel free to reach out and get started.
Outside the office:
Outside of work I love spending time with friends and family, especially outdoors. In the winter, I enjoy tobogganing, playing in the snow with my kids and cross country skiing. In the summer, I like to paddle board, hike and garden. When I can’t be outside, I like playing cards, board and video games, curling up with a book or watching a show.
